Performance Measurement

St. Mary’s General Hospital has a rich history of providing quality, compassionate, patient-centred care.  Performance measurement is an important part of continuous performance improvement – an objective we strive for at St. Mary’s. Through the use of performance indicators, we are able to measure how we are doing and compare our results to national, provincial and internal targets.  By reviewing our performance indicators on a quarterly basis, we are able to understand our strengths, while seeking opportunities for improvement.

Using Performance Indicators
These performance indicators are not meant to give medical advice or guarantee the Hospital’s services.  Each indicator has an explanation about how it is measured and used and visitors are strongly encouraged to read this information.  If you have questions about a particular indicator, please email us.
