St. Mary’s General Hospital is a Centre of Excellence for respiratory and thoracic care.

Our 27-bed Chest Unit is located on the sixth floor.  The Chest Unit also includes a four bed intermediate care room, which is designed specifically for patients with acute respiratory diseases.

The goal of the Unit’s interprofessional team is to help patients manage their health and to meet achievable health goals.
